Let me make it clear that I’m talking about the insurance company, United Healthcare, and not the proposed legislation for universal healthcare for all Americans. Two totally different things.
Dear United Healthcare,
I hate you! I don’t understand why you feel the need to deny every claim twice before you finally approve it. Nothing has changed between each submission, you just want to avoid paying out big sums of money that you know you owe. I don’t understand why every single time I talk to one of your representatives I have to explain that my children are not currently covered under a specific healthcare plan because they are deceased. Why can’t you put that in their file so I don’t have to explain myself every.single.time? I don’t understand why it has taken you seven months to respond to Pediatric Nursing Services and when you finally do respond, you tell them that you can’t process their claim because the birth dates don’t match up. How is that even possible? You have paid other claims with the birthdate you have on file; the same birthdate that was used when PNS submitted their claims.
Just for good measure, in case you didn’t fully grasp it the first time, I hate you! I hate that you give innocent people the runaround. I hate that each of your representatives has a different answer for the same question. I hate that you have the power to ruin a person, financially, emotionally and physically.

I used to work for United Health Care and so did my husband. They are honestly the most EVIL insurance company out there. They actually TRAINED us to DENY ALL claims…they trained us to find ways to MAKE money off of people…they STOLE money from their employees to pay the executives and then their CEO high tailed it out of there because he knew he was in serious legal trouble! I tell everyone I know to STAY AS FAR AWAY from them as you can! They are in the business of MAKING money off of peoples lives and that is it!
I hate them too! Is there really any insurance company that cares?

I agree with you. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES….ASHAMED. We fight with our insurance company also but THIS takes the cake. HOW INSENSITIVE OF THEM to NOT NOTE that your babies are gone somewhere so ANOTHER person won't bring that up again. I share the same hate for our insurance company. What a bunch of jerks.
