Your daughters are beautiful. I am a fellow nestie who has been following their story. I wanted to share with you the website of a family that is prayed for at our church and their daughter, Gwendolyn who also has SMA type-1. They have a petition going for congress to increase research for SMA, and on their site you can also see Gwen and her story.
Brooke, I just read about your loss on the nest. I am so sorry. Words cannot express how you feel i know but if you need to talk please let me know…. I was where you are a few weeks ago… Lindsay http://www.rememberingavi.blogspot.com
I came across this blog through a blog of a blog… I haven’t stopped crying since. I admire you for being strong and facing this head on. I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight, I am so upset because this is so unfair. I dont even have the words to describe what I’m trying to say. I am just so sad for your family. They are stunning girls though, and the best of friends.
Beautiful little girls! My mommy came across a post of yours from another blog. I have SMA 1 too and I’m still alive at 12 years old. I love life and I hope your girls do too. I keep the faith- it’s worth the fight. I hope everyone here signs the petition to cure SMA. http://www.petitiontocuresma.com Madison Rose Reed http://www.miracleformadison.org
Hi Brooke, I heard about the girls I’m so sorry for your loss. Both girls are in a better place now and are looking down with smiles on their faces because they know that they were and are still so loved. aivi08 (the bump)
